The long-shaft deep well pump is a vertical pump composed of single or several centrifugal or mixed flow impellers and diffuser casings, lifting pipes, transmission shafts, pump base, motors, and other components. The pump base and motor are located at the top of the wellhead (or cistern), and the power of the motor is transmitted to the impeller shaft through a transmission shaft concentric with the lifting pipe, thus generating flow and head.

2.The temperature shall not exceed 80℃, thecontent ofsolids (by weight) shall not exceed 0.01%, the pH value shall be 6.5 to 8.5, the content of hydrogen sulfide shall not exceed 1.5 mg/L, and also shall be free of any oil. When used in deep wells, the well hole shall be straight, and bidirectional bending is not allowed .

They should be selected based on the required flow, dynamic water level, pipeline losses, and system pressure to ensure the pump operates within its high-efficiency range.
The pump inlet must remain below the minimum operating water level with sufficient submergence to prevent air intake, vortex formation, and cavitation.
A misaligned well or discharge pipe may cause shaft misalignment, vibration, bearing wear, and excessive noise. Vertical alignment must be checked before installation.
Water-lubricated systems are suitable for clean water. Enclosed oil-lubricated systems are recommended for poor water quality, deep installation, or insufficient lubrication conditions.
Materials such as cast iron, 304, 316, or 316L stainless steel should be selected according to the liquid’s corrosiveness, chloride content, and solid particle concentration.
The standard configuration is suitable for clean liquids. For liquids containing sand, corrosive substances, or high temperatures, the materials, bearings, and hydraulic components should be specially selected.
